Family

I'm blessed with lots of lovely blood relatives, but I still feel the message in this stamp is so true. I have 'adopted' (and been 'adopted' by), more family of the heart than I could begin to mention here...

This was inspired by =mirz-alt's stamp "True Family", which itself quotes Johann Schiller - "It is not flesh and blood but the heart which makes us fathers and sons". I just wanted a feminine version to honour the multiple women, my birth mother, Grandmothers, and all the other women who have mothered me, or treated me as their daughter, over the years. You are all truly wonderful.
